Riley Carlson

Riley is a stay-at-home mom and has been married to her husband, Jared, for 5 years. Riley is the Outreach Manager for ChannelMom’s HomeStretch Moms: Mentoring Moms Out Of Homelessness; in addition, Riley is an entrepreneur with her own clothing boutique for the plus-size woman. Her passion is to encourage women and to help them understand how wonderfully made they are.  Riley believes, “women are world makers and, as women, it’s our responsibility to come alongside one another to bring up the next generation and care for each other.”

Chris is a wife and mother of 4 grown children and a retired RN. Chris’s volunteer work is plentiful: She volunteered at Denver’s Inner City Health Clinic, managed Outreach for Women at Mission Hills Church, volunteered with Open Door Ministries and has led or been part of 15 international missions trips. Chris co-authored a book on parenting, From Another Mother’s Heart. She’s been a speaker for numerous MOPS groups and helped launch a MOPS at her former church. Chris joined ChannelMom’s Board in 2015.

Trish is a wife and mother of 2 adult children.  Trish has been married to Stu for 31 years and has been a tireless advocate for the covenant of marriage and has a love and compassion for those in the bondage of addiction. She is currently a Donor Advisor for K-LOVE Radio and Air1. Trish loves her home state of Colorado, her 2 big dogs, cooking and exercise (to offset the cooking).  Trish has been on theChannelMom Board since 2014.

Jennifer Jo Lloyd

Jennifer Lloyd has been married since 1997 and is the mother of 3 children. She grew up north of downtown Pittsburgh where her extended family still reside. She earned her title as Early Education Specialist and Elementary School Teacher Certification at the University of Pittsburgh in 1998. She taught kindergarten and preschool for 6 years before starting her family. Jennifer relocated to Denver in 2005 and learned about ChannelMom Radio for the first time at a MOPS meeting where Jenny Dean Schmidt was a guest speaker. She is an active volunteer at her children’s schools and also acts as the volunteer Prayer Coordinator and Development Director for ChannelMom. She joined the board in March 2018.

Tonya Milligan

Tonya is a mother of two adult children and author of the book, No Perfect Parent, Just a Perfect Purpose: Keys To Unlocking Every Child’s Greatness. Tonya also owns her own successful business, Rent-A-Theme Entertainment, and she brings a wealth of business experience and parenting knowledge to the Board.


Erika Monet

Erika is married to a supportive husband, who has taken on the everyday challenges of a blended family. She has a 20-year-old daughter and a son who is 14. Erika has a passion for helping women reach a good life-balance with what God has called them to do–hoping that they can see themselves closer to how God sees them.. Erika encourages women to nurture themselves so they can continue nurturing others. One of Erika’s avenues is through her massage therapy practice. She donates her massage services to support non-profit organizations, women-in-need and single moms. Erika spends time volunteering with Adaptive Adventures, assisting disabled individuals with rock climbing and tandem bike riding, and is a Co-Manager of ChannelMom’s Forever Moms Prison Outreach. 

Cindy Perusse

Cindy is an attorney and received her law degree from Hamline University School of Law in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Cindy is currently a partner at Perusse Nixon, PLLC, practicing family law, including child custody, child support and mediation. Cindy has served as a volunteer mentor in ChannelMom’s Overcoming Homelessness Outreach for several years. Cindy and her husband, Dave, are raising their teenage son, Evan.


Misty & Wayne Rector

Misty is a wife, stay-at-home mom, and homeschool teacher. She has been married to her husband Wayne for 13 years, and they have two boys ages 11 and 9. She grew up in Wichita, and moved to Colorado in 1998. After graduating from Metropolitan State University in 2002 with a B.S. in Marketing, she worked for 5 years at Quiznos Corporate. She has been homeschooling her sons for their entire educational journey and loves learning alongside of them. Misty is a tutor in their Classical Conversations homeschool community and actively involved in Community Bible Study. Misty is honored to serve on the ChannelMom Board and have enjoys organizing ChannelMom Coffees.

Wayne is a dad and husband. Wayne graduated from college in 1991 with a business administration degree and moved to Denver two years later. In 1995, he launched his own business in the construction industry and has developed it into a thriving company that affords his wife of 13 years, Misty, to stay at home to focus on raising their two sons. Wayne enjoys volunteering. He taught AWANA for many years, coaches his sons’ soccer and basketball teams, and currently leads an organized Bible study group. Family time is hard to come by, but is very important to Wayne. Bedtime stories, movie nights at home, and road trips are among his favorites. He loves to travel with his family and is always willing to try a new destination, especially a sugary beach in the Caribbean!

Mike is a husband and father of two children. He and his wife, Jenny, have been married for 31 years (they met in nursery school).  Mike is Superintendent of Platte Canyon School District, where he also serves as High School Principal. Over the years, Mike has also served as a high school math teacher and head varsity football coach. Before he turned his career to education, Mike was a Defensive Coordinator for a Division III college football team. Mike was formerly a director on the Board for CHSAA (Colorado High School Activities Association) and he joined the ChannelMom Board of Directors in 2014.
